Job summary

PruittHealth in Milton, FL is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to help patients improve mobility and regain independence. Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, you will deliver treatments in a skilled nursing setting and support rehab goals.

This PRN role offers compensation up to $100,000 annually, based on experience, schedule, and location, plus comprehensive benefits and a collaborative culture focused on clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Rehabilitation or post-acute care experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and mobility activities.
• Monitor patient performance and communicate progress to the supervising PT.
• Support rehabilitation goals through individualized treatment interventions.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation.
• Educate patients and families on safety and mobility strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams.
