Job summary

HealthPRO Heritage is seeking a Full-time Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team in a skilled nursing setting. This role focuses on resident-centered care and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to achieve mobility and independence.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists.
• Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications.
• Monitor and document patient progress, report observations to the Physical Therapist, and educate patients and families.
• Accurately document patient treatments, progress, and responses in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists, other healthcare professionals, and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
