Renewal Rehab in Chillicothe, IL is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for a full-time position in a SNF/Long-Term Care setting. The PTA will provide treatments under the supervision of a licensed PT, assist in patient selection, and coordinate care with the PT for evaluations and referrals.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an APTA-accredited PTA program.
• Current license as Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of practice.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist in identifying appropriate patients for therapy and coordinate with the PT for evaluation and referral.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure quality outcomes.
• Maintain documentation to meet all regulatory requirements.
• Ensure all required physician orders are obtained and up to date.
