Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold, or be eligible to obtain, a Connecticut Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant license.
• Must maintain professional liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on therapy interventions including trigger point therapy, manual techniques, and therapeutic exercises to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Monitor patient progress, document treatment outcomes, and communicate updates to the healthcare team effectively.
• Support discharge planning by preparing patients for transition back to home or other care settings through education and follow-up recommendations.
• Ensure adherence to medical terminology standards, anatomy knowledge, and physiology principles during therapy sessions.
• Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment while adhering to all healthcare regulations and protocols.
• Work in a physician- and physical therapist-directed clinic with integrated rehabilitation care
• Reasonable patient volume, focus on quality, not burnout
