Job summary

IEP Corp is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat residents in a skilled nursing facility. You will assess mobility, develop treatment plans, and provide interventions to maximize residents' independence.

You will document care, communicate with an interdisciplinary team, and contribute to quality improvement efforts while staying current with PT practice standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably skilled nursing facility
• Knowledge of current physical therapy practice standards and regulations

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents' physical abilities and mobility using standardized assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessments and physician orders
• Provide skilled physical therapy interventions including therapeutic exercise and manual therapy
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Document services accurately and timely to maintain resident records
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to optimize outcomes
