Job summary

Nashville Center For Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate patients recovering from injuries, illnesses, or surgery and to create plans that promote optimal function and pain management. You will guide treatment to restore movement and prevent disability, and you may supervise assistants and aides as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements include an accredited PT degree, Tennessee licensure, and CPR certification if required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist with state licensure
• Current CPR certification if required
• Possession of driver’s license may be required by some facilities
• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Experience in geriatric rehabilitation preferred
• Experience in adult neurological, cardiac, or general rehabilitation preferred

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans
• Use physical therapy techniques to promote movement, reduce pain, restore function and prevent disability
• Supervise and direct assistants and aides as needed
• Educate patients and families on prevention and home exercise programs
