Encore Rehabilitation Services is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our clinical team. The assistant will perform physical therapy treatments and related duties under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

The position requires graduation from an accredited PTA program and state licensure; no prior experience is required. The role involves patient care, documentation, and collaboration with rehab staff to support patient progress.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school for Physical Therapist Assistants.
• Experience: None required.
• Licensure/registration as a Physical Therapist Assistant with the State Board of Physical Therapy.

Responsabilités

• Adheres to the code of ethics of the APTA.
• Reports to the staff Physical Therapists/Clinical Director concerning Physical Therapy matters.
• Carries out the physical therapy procedures according to the Plan of Care of the Registered Physical Therapist.
• Counsels patient and/or family on special problems with advice from the Registered Physical Therapist.
• Documents on all patients' treatments received according to the policies and procedures of the physical therapy department.
