Job summary

Montefiore Mount Vernon is seeking a full-time Licensed Psychologist for the WeCARE program in New York. The role involves conducting psychological assessments when there is disagreement with Functional Capacity Outcome determinations and supporting WeCARE staff to meet contractual goals.

You will collaborate with the Medical Director to implement standard operating procedures and ensure compliance with NYC HRA requirements, bringing 2+ years of relevant experience and strong writing skills to

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree required (PHD or PsyD).
• Licensed Psychologist in the State of New York (active registration required).
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required.
• Experience with disability evaluations strongly preferred.
• Strong writing skills required.
• Knowledge of medical and/or behavioral health diagnoses required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Psychological Assessments for clients when they disagree with their Functional Capacity Outcome determination.
• Serve as a clinical resource for WeCARE staff to help ensure program goals and contractual obligations are met.
• Collaborate with Medical Director to implement SOPs and ensure adherence to NYC HRA contractual requirements.
