We are thrilled to announce an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated Licensed Psychologist! The Department of Corrections at the State Correctional Institution at Laurel Highlands is seeking a committed Licensed Psychologist Manager to join our psychology team. In this role, you will lead the development, coordination, and management of our psychological services program within the facility. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that our services effectively address the needs of the institution and its inmates. As a Licensed Psychologist Manager for the Department of Corrections, you will be responsible for the planning, organizing, and directing of the psychological services program for the institution. You will be coordinating the psychological services program in the institution with other disciplines, developing and writing new policies and procedures for existing programs, and chairing the population psychiatric review team. You will also be participating as a standing member of the clinical review team for suicides and attempted suicides, consulting with psychiatry and medical staff, and performing psychological testing and evaluation of inmates.
