Job summary

Cumberland Family Medical Center (CFMC) in Frankfort, KY is seeking a Licensed Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and consultation within a family medicine setting. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient-centered care.

The role requires APA-accredited doctoral training, state licensure, and experience with individual, family, and group therapies.

Qualifications

• Completion of an APA-accredited internship in clinical psychology.
• Post-doctoral experience in a relevant setting (e.g., family medicine, primary care, integrated healthcare).
• Experience conducting psychological assessments and providing evidence-based psychotherapy to diverse populations.
• Experience working with individuals and families presenting a wide range of mental health concerns.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological assessments using interviews, testing, and observations to diagnose mental health conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on diagnoses using CBT, DBT, and other evidence-based practices.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy to address depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, and behavioral disorders.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, social workers and other professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in line with legal/ethical guidelines.
• Consult with other professionals to coordinate care and provide comprehensive support.
• Stay current with the latest research and best practices in psychology to ensure high-quality care.
• Participate in professional development and maintain licensure/certifications.
• Contribute to team meetings, program development, and a positive work environment.
• Adhere to ethical and legal guidelines governing psychology practice.
