Job summary

Allina Health is seeking a Licensed Psychologist to provide outpatient therapy and psychological services for geriatric and older adult patients in St. Paul, Minnesota.

This role offers evidence-based behavioral health care in a collaborative, patient-centered clinic. You will work closely with primary care, specialty providers, behavioral health professionals, caregivers, and community resources to support the mental health and overall well-being of older adults.

Qualifications

• Doctoral/Ph.D. level advanced degree in Psychology or Counseling.
• Licensed Psychologist - MN Board of Psychology required upon hire.
• BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support - Multisource required within 180 Days.
• Formal Training/Certification in a suicide prevention modality as applicable based on role within 90 Days required.

Responsibilities

• See patients in outpatient therapy setting.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments and psychological evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and care teams.
• Deliver outpatient psychotherapy services (individual and family therapy).
• Engage patients' social supports to improve functioning and outcomes.
• Coordinate care with community providers and agencies; initiate referrals as needed.
• Mentor and provide clinical guidance to mental health practitioners when applicable.
