Role Description

This is a contract remote role as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, at Lighthouse Psychotherapy Services. As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, you will work with other mental health professionals to provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to individuals with mental health and emotional disorders. You will be responsible for conducting individual, couples, and/or family therapy sessions, in addition to developing treatment plans, and maintaining accurate and timely treatment records.

Qualifications:

• Doctoral degree in Psychology or related field from an accredited university
• Active and unrestricted state licensure as a Clinical Psychologist
• At least two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting preferred
• Experience and competence in evidence-based treatment modalities for common mental health issues (e.g. CBT, DBT, ACT, etc.)
• Ability to conduct assessments for common mental health and emotional disorders, and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing education and professional development
• Familiarity with medical documentation and record keeping practices
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality

Responsibilities:

• Complete new client intake sessions, including biopsychosocial assessments
• Assess client’s mental health needs and develop treatment plans for targeting a variety of mental health issues
• Conduct psychotherapy with a diverse group of clients including individual adults and children, couples, families, and/or groups employing a variety of treatment modalities
• Utilize various techniques and therapeutic modalities to assist clients in their healing process
• Complete/maintain documentation, including charting, progress notes, and any other documentation in compliance with HIPAA and state Board of Psychology regulations
• Attend staff meetings as necessary
• Attend training as necessary, to stay up-to-date on current research and best practices in the field of psychology, and obtain CEUs
• Uphold the APA Ethics Code and state Board of Psychology laws/ethics
