Responsibilities:

1. The Licensed Psychological Associate, under the supervision of a licensed psychologist, will provide mental health services to patients at correctional and detention facilities.
2. Provide clinical services in accordance with professional standards and policies.
3. Conduct diagnosis, assessment, treatment, and crisis management services for mental health issues.
4. Deliver staff training and participate in case staffing and quality improvement activities.
5. Maintain ethical and professional standards of care and ensure timely and professional clinical documentation.
6. Notify supervising Psychologist immediately of any serious incidents and report clinical concerns that may impact clients or the mental health program.

Education:

1. Master’s degree in psychology.

Experience:

1. Experience with mental health delivery systems.
2. Experience in the mental field that indicates knowledge of diagnosis and treatment of psychological disorders and psychological evaluation techniques, including psychological assessment instruments.

Licenses/Certifications:

1. Licensed as a License Psychological Associate in the state of Kentucky.
