Role Overview

Under the supervision of licensed medical professionals, you will provide skilled nursing care, including data collection, assessments, care planning, and patient education, primarily in a correctional setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather and document patient data to assist in assessments and treatment planning.
  • Implement treatment plans and clinical interventions per healthcare provider directives.
  • Administer medications, assist with diagnostic tests, and respond to health emergencies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
  • Manage inventory and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited Nursing or Psychiatric Technician program.
  • At least one year of clinical experience.
  • Current unrestricted licensure as an LPN, LVN, or LPT in your state.
  • Current BLS certification; Phlebotomy/IV certification required within six months if not already held.
