Job description

Our brand new, 15-bed, mental health facility is located in Orangevale, CA. Our inpatient facility serves voluntary clients who receive specialized and personal care from our staff.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day delivery of patient care
• Provide outstanding, individualized resident care and medical support to clients as needed
• Prepare and review medical records and nurses' notes to evaluate the resident's physical and emotional status
• Provide care according to the Physician's orders, care plans, established standards, policies, and procedures
• Prepare and monitor patient-administered medications as ordered by the physician in accordance with nursing standards and facility policies
• Monitor and report adverse reactions to medications and treatment to the RN and/or Physician
• Sign, date, and perform all charting, record keeping, and care plans in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Utilize good infection control procedures. Utilize behavioral management and crisis intervention techniques
• Ensure compliance with State licensing standards and accreditation standards
• Adhere to and uphold the policies and procedures of the company
• Other duties as assigned
• Facilitate group therapy sessions
• Provide client assistance in crisis intervention situations
• Maintain EMR
• Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and occupational therapists

Requirements:

• Current Psychiatric Technician (PT) license
• Must have a valid Driver’s License

Hourly Range:

$36.00-$44.54
