$35.00/hr - $50.00/hr

Job Description

Environmental Advisors and Engineers, Inc. (EAE) is seeking a full-time and/or part-time experienced mid-level Licensed Project Architect proficient in Revit to support our architectural team. This remote work-from-home position offers flexible hours, employee benefits, employer-provided software and equipment, and opportunities for local fieldwork. The role involves designing commercial and industrial projects, quality control, and construction administration, working closely with the Architectural Department Manager to lead design efforts.

Note: Full-time positions are limited to candidates residing in or willing to relocate to the Kansas City or Wichita, Kansas metro areas.

EAE is a growing consulting firm based in Kansas City with over 27 years of experience, comprising licensed architects, engineers, designers, construction specialists, environmental scientists, and support staff.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Assist with all project phases from schematic design through construction.
  • Prepare assessments, feasibility studies, and reports.
  • Create and review drawings in Revit and Bluebeam based on sketches and layouts.
  • Research and resolve design challenges.
  • Draft specifications and support project management tasks.
  • Review shop drawings and submittals.
  • Participate in site and virtual project meetings.
  • Provide technical and quality control support.
  • For local candidates, participate in field investigations and construction observations.
Qualifications

Required: Bachelor’s or Master’s in architecture, 7+ years’ experience, licensure in Missouri and/or Kansas or ability to obtain within 12 months, proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, Autodesk, MS Office, and strong communication skills.

Preferred: Residency in KC/Wichita, experience in MEP/Structural coordination, ADA, project management, LEED, and water/wastewater architecture, among others.

Additional Requirements

For full-time staff: willingness to relocate if outside the area, ability to perform roofing inspections, and support diverse engineering and construction tasks.
