Job summary

Thriving Lives Counseling in Illinois is seeking licensed mental health therapists to join our in-person team. You will provide therapy to adults, children and adolescents, families, couples, and groups, with a focus on collaborative care and evidence-based approaches.

Responsibilities include mental health assessments, treatment planning, maintaining your calendar, and timely progress notes, with occasional light office tasks. Availability for evenings and weekend slots is required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or equivalent.
• Must be licensed as an LPC in Illinois (provide license number).
• Willingness to work with couples, children, and adolescents.

W2 Employee-we currently have both part-time (12+ completed sessions/wk) and full-time positions (25+ completed sessions/wk)

About the Role

Illinois Licensed-Mental Health Therapists
We are currently hiring licensed clinician(s) to begin as soon as possible, providing primarily in-person therapy services to adults, children and adolescents, families, couples and groups.
In addition to therapy sessions, you will also be conducting the mental health assessment and treatment planning with your clients, maintaining your own calendar, writing progress notes in a timely manner and light office maintenance on occasion.

Requirements

Working with or willingness to learn to work with couples and/or children and adolescents is required as this is the majority of our client population

Must be available for in-person sessions, as this is what the majority of our clients prefer.

Must also be available to work either 2 or more evenings until 8 or 9p and/or Saturdays or Sundays mornings/early afternoons.

Completion of a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or other equivalent program.

Successful completion of internship in the field of Mental Health Counseling or Clinical Psychology or equivalent program.

Must be currently licensed in the state of Illinois as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)- please provide license # on resume.
