Job summary

Thriving Lives Counseling is seeking licensed clinicians to provide in-person mental health services to adults, children and families in Illinois. You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain your calendar with timely progress notes.

Positions include part-time and full-time schedules, with some evenings and weekend availability preferred. Must hold an Illinois LCPC license and be willing to work with couples and/or children as a core client population.

Qualifications

• Licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) in Illinois.
• Experience providing therapy to adults, children, adolescents, families, couples or groups preferred.
• Willingness to work with couples and/or children a must.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person therapy to individuals and groups.

About the Role

Illinois Licensed-Mental Health Therapists
We are currently hiring licensed clinician(s) to begin as soon as possible, providing primarily in-person therapy services to adults, children and adolescents, families, couples and groups.
In addition to therapy sessions, you will also be conducting the mental health assessment and treatment planning with your clients, maintaining your own calendar, writing progress notes in a timely manner and light office maintenance on occasion.

Requirements

Working with or willingness to learn to work with couples and/or children and adolescents is required as this is the majority of our client population.

Must be available for in-person sessions, as this is what the majority of our clients prefer.

Must also be available to work either 2 or more evenings until 8 or 9p and/or Saturdays or Sundays mornings/early afternoons.

Completion of a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or other equivalent program.

Successful completion of internship in the field of Mental Health Counseling or Clinical Psychology or equivalent program.

Must be currently licensed in the state of Illinois as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)- please provide license # on resume.
