Job summary

Ellie Mental Health in Nashville West, TN is seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC‑MHSP) to join our growing team. You will evaluate mental health needs, develop treatment plans, and document sessions in accordance with company policy.

The role requires experience with children to adults, collaboration with case managers and school staff, and a commitment to reducing stigma while delivering accessible care. We offer competitive pay and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Fully licensed mental health professional with a valid Tennessee license (preferred)
• Experience working with children, adolescents, teens, and adults (preferred)
• Experience with couples, families, trauma, substance abuse, and schools (preferred)
• General knowledge of therapy services, community resources, insurance billing, and documentation in mental health settings (preferred)
• Insurance panel credentialing (ideally)

Responsibilities

• Evaluate mental health diagnoses, create and implement treatment plans, and complete ongoing documentation, including diagnosis updates, treatment plan reviews, and case notes per company policy.
• Maintain a minimum caseload of 27 client visits per week for full‑time clinicians (part‑time positions available).
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further our mission.
• Utilize creative interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals.
• Prepare and submit individual documentation after each session.
• Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed.
• Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and training.
• Maintain a sense of humor that supports a positive therapeutic and workplace environment.
