Are you a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) in Texas seeking high-quality, engaging supervision as you work toward full licensure?
Become part of a supportive and collaborative supervision experience grounded in evidence-based practice, clinical depth, and professional mentorship. Each associate receives personalized guidance tailored to their unique needs, goals, and personality with the goal of fostering meaningful, professional growth and confidence in their clinical identity.
What You Can Expect
• Weekly Individual and Group Supervision
• Meets Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council (BHEC) requirements: 4 supervision sessions per month — at least 2 must be individual.
Accessible Online Format
• All sessions are conducted via secure video unless otherwise arranged.
Individualized Support
• Assistance with treatment planning, documentation, ethical clinical decision-making, and developing your theoretical orientation.
• Broad Therapeutic Lens
Supervision takes an eclectic approach that incorporates evidence-based interventions from a variety of modalities, including:
- Gottman Method Couples Therapy
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Existential Therapy
- Attachment-Based Work
Requirements
• You must have obtained, or be in the process of obtaining, your LPC-Associate temporary license in the state of Texas.
• You must be located and actively practicing in Texas.
• You must be committed to ethical, client-centered, and reflective clinical work.
Supervision Fees for Associate
• Individual Supervision: $120 per hour
• Group Supervision: $80 per hour
About the Supervisor: Cole Modlin, MA, LPC-S
Cole Modlin is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor with over a decade of clinical experience. He has worked extensively with:
• Adolescents (13–18)
• Adults, Couples, and Families
In addition to running his private practice, Cole has served as Clinical Director of Resolve Mental Health and previously led a Cook Children's family therapy and temporary residential program.
His clinical experience spans:
• Family therapy in intensive outpatient settings
• Crisis stabilization and acute mental health support in hospital settings
Cole’s supervision style is person-centered and integrative, focused on nurturing ethical, skilled, and self-aware clinicians.
