SENIOR CARE THERAPY is seeking Licensed Professional Counselors to provide in-person psychotherapy to geriatric residents across NJ, NY, PA, and MD. The clinician-owned team handles billing, credentialing, and pre-certifications, allowing you to focus on clinical care within skilled nursing facilities.

We offer flexible full-time schedules (32–40 hours), with a competitive salary range, sign-on bonus up to $6,000, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and life

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted LPC license in the state applying for.
• Effective oral and written English communication.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) is a plus.
• Ability to provide in-person services at facilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions for residents in SNFs.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat emotional and behavioral health conditions.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
• Collaborate with facility staff and families to support patient care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in an EHR system.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Senior Care Therapy is seeking Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC) to join our mission of providing in-person psychotherapy services to the geriatric population. We currently serve over 300 Skilled Nursing Facilities including sub-acute, long-term care, and assisted living throughout NJ, NY, PA, and MD.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions for patients in a subacute or skilled nursing facility.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of emotional and behavioral health conditions, including depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, and cognitive decline.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to the needs of each patient.
• Collaborate with facility staff, interdisciplinary teams, and family members to support patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards using our clinician-designed electronic medical/health system (EHR).
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor in State applying for.
• Effective oral and written communication in English
• Basic proficiency with technology, including electronic health records (EHR).
• Strong organizational and documentation skills, with attention to regulatory compliance.
• Ability to provide in-person services at assigned facilities, up to 45 minutes.
• Ability to walk, stand, and move between patient rooms and offices within the facility throughout the day.
• Full Vaccination and Booster Status may be required in some facilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous clinical experience in a subacute, long-term care, or geriatric healthcare setting.
• History of treating Anxiety, Depression and Adjustment Disorders.
• Psych or Addictions experience is a plus.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
