Alliant Personnel Resources is hiring for a correctional facility in Corcoran, California.

Job Title: Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor

Location: Correctional Facility in Corcoran, California

Pay Rate: $53.50 - $55.50 Per Hour

Schedule: 6 to 9 months Full Time Contract, Eligible for extension

Requirements:
  1. Masters Degree in Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
  2. At least twelve (12) months of LPCC experience within the last three (3) years providing direct patient care in public or private institutions. Clinical competencies must be current.
  3. Valid Photo ID, Driver’s License, or Passport (Required)
  4. Valid LPCC license issued by the California Board of Behavioral Science (Required)
  5. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Provide on-call crisis services and emergency consultations during workdays.
  2. Conduct thorough mental health evaluations, including assessments of criminal and substance abuse history.
  3. Evaluate suicide risk with clinical precision and proper documentation.
  4. Offer crisis intervention, psychotherapy, and interviews, including in challenging physical environments.
  5. Collaborate with medical and support staff to diagnose and manage psychiatric disorders.
  6. Write clinical reports, develop treatment plans, and consult on complex cases.
  7. Document patient care, monitor progress, and adhere to ethical standards and reporting mandates.
  8. Make recommendations to care teams, communicate effectively, and collaborate with patients and multidisciplinary teams.
