Job summary

Milestone Treatment Center seeks a compassionate Licensed Primary Therapist to provide individual and group therapy, develop treatment plans, respond to crises, and collaborate with the treatment team to support lasting recovery.

You will conduct comprehensive assessments, monitor progress, maintain documentation, and uphold HIPAA and ethical standards while caring for clients with co-occurring disorders in a fast-paced multidisciplinary setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related behavioral health field.
• Active or pending LPC, LCSW, LSW, or LCADC licensure preferred.
• Experience in behavioral health, substance use, mental health, PHP, IOP, or outpatient treatment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of individual counseling, group facilitation, treatment planning, and crisis intervention.
• Ability to manage a clinical caseload with timely documentation.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary treatment environment.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace and electronic clinical documentation systems is a plus.
• EMDR and/or TF-CBT certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual therapy to assigned clients.
• Facilitate group therapy within the treatment program.
• Complete comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Regularly evaluate client progress and update treatment plans based on clinical needs.
• Provide crisis intervention, risk assessment, and clinical support when needed.
• Maintain timely, accurate, and thorough clinical documentation.
• Coordinate care and communicate effectively with members of the multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Establish strong therapeutic relationships while maintaining professional and clinical boundaries.
• Support clients with co-occurring substance use and mental health conditions.
• Follow all HIPAA, confidentiality, ethical, state, federal, and organizational requirements.
• Participate in clinical meetings, case consultations, and other treatment-related activities.
• Complete additional clinical responsibilities as assigned by program leadership.
