Job summary

Summit of Edgewood is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our care team. You will administer medications, monitor residents, and coordinate with doctors and CNAs to deliver high-quality care in a welcoming environment.

We look for strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting while maintaining dignity and comfort for residents. BLS is required; ACLS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current LPN/LVN license in the state where employed.
• Strong clinical and patient management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle challenging situations with grace.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications, treatments, and wound care as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and promptly report changes.
• Assist in patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Provide compassionate care, ensuring patients' comfort and dignity.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with facility policies.
• Coordinate with doctors, CNAs, and other healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge instructions.

You will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our patients by delivering excellent clinical care, managing patient interactions, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
