Job summary

Ability Care Services is seeking an experienced Home Health Nurse - LPN for PRN/Part-time work. The role focuses on in-home patient assessments, vital signs review, and medication administration to support patients in their homes.

The position requires an FL-approved LPN program, FL LPN license, reliable transportation, and completion of background and competency checks. Per visit pay, with opportunities for signing bonus and training & development. Immediate hiring in multiple counties.

Qualifications

• Must have FL-approved LPN program from an industry-accredited institution.
• Must have reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance.
• Must successfully complete a Level II background check.
• Must complete a competency check and orientation prior to initiating patient care.
• Current FL State LPN license is required.

Responsibilities

• Asess patient conditions with face-to-face visits and perform evaluation tasks including vital signs and medication review.
• Administer prescribed medications and dress wounds as needed.
• Provide patient education and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team on care plan progress.
• Make recommendations for devices/tools/medications to improve patient quality of life.

Job Description: As a home health nurse - LPN, your responsibilities will be to assess patient's condition with face-to-face visits, perform evaluation tasks including vital signs and medication review, administer medication as prescribed by the patient's physician, dress (or re-dress) wounds, provide patient education, coordinate with the interdisciplinary team regarding care plan progress, and make recommendations for devices/tools/medications that might improve patient's quality of life.
