Job Description
Under the direct supervision of the Charge nurse and/or Registered nurse, performs the primary function of a licensed practical nurse in providing care to patients in need of wound care services. The LPN is responsible for meeting standards of Wound Care practice set forth by regulatory agencies & nursing practice in the management of all assigned patients; assists medical staff with the implementation of wound treatment plans; essential in collaborating with other healthcare providers in the review of performance improvement activities and acts within the guidelines of federal & state laws, Joint Commission standards, and professional & ethical practice.

Ability to perform job functions while standing, sitting, and walking (Continuous). Ability to climb stairs, work indoors, and outdoors in temperature extremes (Infrequent).
