Licensed Practical Nurse Weekend Program - Day Shift

Join our team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in our Weekend Day Shift program. We offer excellent benefits, including eligibility for Aetna health insurance starting at no cost from the first month after hire.

Position Overview
  • Full-Time, Part-Time (Every Other Weekend Required) on Days, Evenings, or Nights
  • Per Diem options available

Work in a beautiful setting in North Salem at a 5-Star Rated facility known for high-quality care and resident satisfaction. Our Waterview Hills Campus includes Waterview Hills and Salem Hills Rehabilitation & Healthcare, dedicated to providing outstanding subacute rehab and long-term skilled nursing care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide daily support to unit leadership and respond appropriately to resident and family needs within the LPN scope of practice.
  • Use nursing process, judgment, and skills to prioritize and deliver quality resident care, ensuring safety and well-being.
  • Administer standard nursing treatments and medications, observing for effects.
  • Communicate and collaborate with team members to update care plans and report pertinent findings.
  • Monitor and document vital signs, treatments, and resident responses.
  • Oversee and evaluate the delivery of care by CNAs, considering resident needs and staff competency.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an approved nursing school.
  • Licensed and in good standing as an LPN in New York.
  • Dedicated to providing compassionate, clinically sound care.
  • Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and harmoniously with staff.
  • Covid-19 vaccinations encouraged but not mandatory; vaccination is offered based on CDC guidelines.
