Licensed Practical Nurse Weekend Program - Day Shift

Join our team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in our Weekend Program, working the Day Shift. We offer excellent benefits, including eligibility for AETNA health insurance starting the first of the month after hire, at no cost.

Position Details
  • Full-Time, Part-Time (Every Other Weekend Required) on Days, Evenings, or Nights
  • Per Diem options available

Work in a beautiful setting in North Salem at our 5 Star Rated facility, Waterview Hills, part of Westchester County's premier healthcare providers known for high-quality care and resident satisfaction. Our facilities, Waterview Hills and Salem Hills Rehabilitation & Healthcare, are dedicated to providing outstanding subacute rehabilitation and long-term skilled nursing care, ensuring the best post-hospital recovery for our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Provide daily support to unit leadership and respond appropriately to resident and family needs within the scope of practice
  • Use nursing processes, judgment, and skills to prioritize and deliver quality resident care
  • Perform and administer standard nursing treatments and medications, observing for effects
  • Communicate and collaborate with team members to update care plans and report findings
  • Monitor and document vital signs, treatments, and resident responses
  • Organize and oversee CNA activities and care delivery, considering resident needs and staff competency
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved nursing school
  • Licensed and registered in good standing in New York as an LPN
  • Committed to providing compassionate, clinically sound care
  • Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and harmoniously with staff
  • COVID-19 vaccinations encouraged but not mandated; vaccination offered based on CDC guidelines
