Job summary

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, coordinates the Plan of Care for the patient in the home, hospital, or other setting. Works cooperatively with other team members in maintaining standards of professional nursing practice and in accordance with age specific needs and within the scope of practice for License Practical Nurse within New York State.

Location & Schedule

Location: Home Care‑VNA Genesee County, Batavia, New York.

Work Type: Full‑Time. Shift: 1. Scheduled Work Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Weekend/Holiday requirement: Yes. On‑call required: Yes. Standard hours bi‑weekly: 80.25 hours.

Education & Credentials

Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Licensed Practical Nursing is required. Valid NYS License as a Practical Nurse (LPN) upon hire is required. Valid NYS Driver’s License upon hire is required.

Experience

One year of experience in acute medical/surgical nursing is preferred.

Working Conditions

Compensation

Salary range: $27.56–$36.15 per hour. Wage will be determined based on factors such as candidate experience, qualifications, internal equity, and applicable collective bargaining agreement.
