Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse administers nursing care to residents under the supervision of a registered nurse. Responsibilities include coordinating activities of certified nurse assistants and participating directly in resident care according to the plan of care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program
• Current NY State LPN license

Experience

• Long-term care experience preferred
• Minimum of 1 year post-hire experience required to perform effectively
