Job summary

Ro Health seeks a licensed nurse to serve as a school nurse in Tacoma, WA. The role is in-person with schedule Mon-Fri, 8am-3pm, aligned with school hours. RN the pay range is $40-$45/hr, LVN $34-$38/hr; includes comprehensive benefits and PTO.

We welcome new graduates and offer support to obtain school nurse credentials. The position includes commuting benefits and strong clinical support to ensure quality student care.

Qualifications

• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Licensed to practice in Washington state.
• LPN or RN licensure.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and sit for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Manage the care of students with chronic health conditions by coordinating with healthcare providers, teachers, and parents.
• Monitor and manage immunization records to ensure compliance with state regulations.
• Provide first aid and emergency care for injuries or sudden illnesses.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans and drills.
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records.
• Communicate with parents regarding their child’s health status and follow-up care.

Overview:

• In-person
• Schedule : M-F 8am-3pm (school hours)
• Compensation:
  • LVN - $34-38/hr
  • RN - $40-45/hr

• Monitor and manage immunization records to ensure compliance with state regulations
• Provide first aid and emergency care for injuries or sudden illnesses
• Develop and implement emergency response plans and drills.

• Communicate with parents regarding their child's health status, concerns, and recommended follow-up care
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time
• Potential need to frequently bend, crouch, and lift (up to 40 pounds)
