The University of Vermont Health Network CVPH is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to support intake, patient processing, and simple treatments under supervision of the OHW RN Coordinator. The LPN will coordinate care for injured employees and work with contracted community employers.
AHA-BLS certification is required within 6 months of hire; prior medical office or primary care experience is preferred. The position includes multiple shifts to cover 0800-1630 and alternatives.
Per the Collective Bargaining Agreement, current bargaining unit employees have priority consideration for this position if they apply within seven (7) days of the posting date. After this period, all applicants will be considered equally.
Primary Shift: 0800-1630
Secondary Shifts: 0700-1530, 0730-1600
The Licensed Practical Nurse has responsibilities that include intake, processing of patients, simple patient treatment as directed by the professional staff. Under the direction of the OHW RN Coordinator, the LPN is responsible for the coordination of the health care services of injured employees of UVM Health Network-CVPH and contracted community employers. AHA-BLS certification is required however, certification is not a qualifying factor to obtain the position.
