UK King’s Daughters Oncology Specialty Unit (3J) in Ashland, KY is seeking an LPN to provide patient-centered care within a multidisciplinary ambulatory team. You will perform assessments, direct care, and simple procedures under RN supervision, ensuring patient satisfaction and compliance with regulatory standards.
The role requires an active LPN license, a high school diploma with vocational training, and 0–2 years of healthcare experience.

Responsible for providing patient-centered care as part of a multidisciplinary ambulatory team by performing assessments, direct care, and simple procedures within the LPN scope of practice. Works under RN supervision to implement and evaluate nursing care plans and ensure patient satisfaction. Delegates tasks to nursing assistants and adheres to regulatory standards. Fosters collaboration to enhance patient outcomes and experiences.
High school diploma or equivalent and Vocational/technical training in relevant area
0-2 years of experience in a healthcare, clinical setting, or a relevant area An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. All experience must be paid and in the same related field. Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week. Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.
Current and active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in applicable state, Basic Life Support (BLS)
