Job summary

Wayne County Hospital in Corydon, IA is seeking a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Med/Surg department. You will deliver, implement, and evaluate nursing care to assigned patients under the supervision of a registered nurse and be accountable for care during the shift.

This role requires Iowa LPN licensure, BLS, HIPAA knowledge, mandatory reporting certification within 6 months, and successful completion of background checks, physical, drug screen, TB test, and seasonal flu shot.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license issued by the State of Iowa.
• BLS certification required.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and privacy of patient information.
• Mandatory Reporting certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Background check, physical, drug screen, TB test, and seasonal flu shot required upon hire.
