Summary: Responsible for enhancing and improving the SRIM experience specifically in heartful care for our residents and their families. Demonstrates and promotes SRIM’s core value of the golden rule—treating residents, families, visitors, and associates with respect. Performs nursing procedures to ensure residents' comfort and well-being, such as assisting with admissions, activities of daily living, and administering medications. Supervises non-licensed nursing staff and participates in their evaluation.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Supervisory Responsibilities: Direct supervision of staff within the Resident Services/Nursing Department, including training, performance reviews, and resolving issues.
Physical Demands: Regularly standing, walking, using hands, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds. Accommodations may be provided for disabilities.
Work Environment: Exposure to bloodborne pathogens and other hazards typical of healthcare settings. Reasonable accommodations are available.
Qualifications: Must have excellent reading, writing, math, reasoning, and computer skills. A high school diploma or GED, with 1-2 years of related experience, and a valid state nursing license are required.
