Job summary

Onsite Innovations is seeking an experienced LPN for a PRN role at our client's Findlay, OH site. The position focuses on patient care, health screening and compliance in a dynamic worksite.

You will perform essential duties, assist clinicians, run drug screens, maintain records and support front office tasks while ensuring HIPAA compliance and excellent patient service.

Qualifications

  • Licensed practical nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
  • Graduate of an accredited LPN program; state registration current.
  • Experience with occupational health, DOTs, and HIPAA compliance preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Escort patients to exam rooms and assist clinicians during exams.
  • Perform urine drug screens and manage specimen handling per policy.
  • Maintain clean, stocked exam and treatment rooms and inventory.
  • Support medical records, front desk tasks and patient flow.

Onsite Innovations has an immediate need for an experienced and passionate LPN at our client’s site in Findlay, OH in a PRN role. This position offers an opportunity to work at a dynamic worksite and make an impact on employee health, wellness, and safety!

Assists with

patient care, physical examinations, ancillary tests, and performs a variety of administrative duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Escorts patients to exam room, prepares patients for examination and treatment and assists the practitioner, as requested.
  • Performs urine drug screens, using proper chain of custody; ensures preparation for pick-up and shipment to appropriate laboratory.
  • Maintains exam rooms, lab area and treatment rooms clean and stocked, maintaining inventory of supplies and re-orders as needed.
  • Assists in medical record maintenance by keeping health, administrative, and program records onsite, safeguarding confidentiality of employee health information.
  • Performs front office clerical duties such as answering telephones, check-in, check-out and record processing.
  • Dispenses medications as directed by practitioner and in accordance with state regulations.
  • Maintains and operates all clinical equipment, including calibration and record keeping in accordance with current policy and procedures.
  • Performs ancillary testing and tasks as ordered by the Center Medical Director (PFT, injections, audiograms) in accordance with established policies and procedures.

  • Ensures accuracy when completing and executing tasks such as drug screens, DOTs, bandaging, dressings and performing quality assurance checks.

Education/Credentials

Education Level:Vocational/Technical/Business School

Degree must be from an accredited college or university.

Education Details:
  • Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program
  • Current registration/license in the state where employed
  • Successful completion of UDS, BAT, PFT, FIT, certification

Experience in lieu of required education is acceptable: No

Continuing education is required to maintain license and to perform job: Yes
