Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Per Diem Licensed Practical Nurse (Medical) for Garden State Youth Correctional Facility, located in Yardville, NJ.
The primary purpose of this position is to, in accordance with professional nursing standards, administer total patient care based on the individualized needs of patients and families. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, provides technical nursing care, performs treatments and procedures within guidelines, and ensures a safe environment.
Must perform CPR for at least 10 minutes, assist with lifting and rotating patients up to 50 pounds.
Must be approved by the Department of Corrections and comply with all requirements.
