Job summary

COMMUNITY HEALTH CARE INC in Wildwood, NJ, seeks an RN for the Practice Manager role to deliver friendly, professional nursing care within a team-based, patient-centered medical home model.

You will collaborate with all levels of staff to meet care quality goals, adhere to HIPAA, and ensure safe, efficient patient care using EMR systems. Full- and part-time benefits are offered by CompleteCare.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • 1–2 years of experience preferred.
  • A current license from the State Board of Nursing.
  • CPR certified.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to navigate electronic medical record systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with all members of the healthcare team.
  • Commitment to professional growth and development in a dynamic, forward-thinking organization.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in role of every medical emergency.

MAJOR FUNCTION: To provide friendly, professional and high-quality nursing care to CompleteCare patients within a team-based, patient-centered medical home model of care.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Provide nursing services to patients while ensuring a safe environment of care

  • Maintains clean and orderly health center and efficiently utilizes supplies

OTHER JOB DUTIES:

  • Identifies patients
  • Prepares patient record
  • Prepares patient for exam
  • Administers prescribed medications
  • Assists provider during exam
  • Takes and records accurate vital signs
  • Selects and completes all required forms for medical visits
  • Maintain and update emergency boxes and oxygen
  • Reviews discharge instructions with patients
  • Performs charge responsibilities as assigned
  • Completes logs and syringe counts
  • Completes medication logs and scanning
  • Oversees stocking of all medical supplies
  • Performs and documents call-back/triage responsibilities
  • Maintains immunization statistics
  • Renews prescriptions in accordance with approved refill guidelines
  • Monitors each chart in awaiting reply at nursing box and responds as necessary
  • Performs nursing box transcriptions of orders correctly for each chart as assigned
  • Completes patient orders in the electronic medical record
  • Ensures completion of all necessary templates in the electronic medical record

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • 1 – 2 year of experience preferred
  • A current license from the State Board of Nursing
  • CPR certified
