Legend Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a part-time position to support the nursing team. You will assist with resident medication management, service planning and supervising the nursing staff to ensure high-quality care.

You will participate in assessments, coordinate with health care services, and assist with move-ins and move-outs while providing direct care during emergencies and on-call rotations. CPR-certified LPNs are required.

Qualifications

• Current LPN nursing license and CPR certification as required by state.
• At least 1 year of prior relevant experience.
• Previous supervisory experience, preferably in senior living.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and train nursing staff to ensure quality of care.
• Verify distribution and documentation of medications, treatments and orders.
• Participate in resident assessments and service planning, coordinating with health care services as needed.
• Assist with move-in/move-out processes including tours, orientation, evaluations, and family communications.
• Provide direct care during health emergencies or on-call rotations.
• Communicate resident concerns to the appropriate department manager.
• Follow company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.

We are looking for an outstanding individual to join the nursing team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). • Verifying the proper distribution and required documentation of medication, treatments and orders
• Participating in regular resident assessments and service planning, and following up with ancillary health care services as needed
• Assisting with the move-in and move-out process including tours, orientation, evaluations, and family communications
• Providing direct care when needed, such as during health emergencies or during on-call rotation
• Relaying resident concerns or changes to the appropriate department manager
• Communicating effectively with residents and staff
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines

Requirements

• Required: a current LPN nursing license and CPR certification as required by the state
• Prefer: at least 1 year of prior relevant experience
• Prefer: previous supervisory experience, preferably in senior living
