Job summary

Legend Senior Living® is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to join our nursing team on a part-time basis. You will support clinical services, including resident medication management, service planning, and supervision of nursing staff, ensuring residents receive high-quality direct care.

You will participate in regular resident assessments, contribute to care planning, assist with move-in/move-out processes, and support family communications.

Qualifications

• Current LPN nursing license valid in the state.
• CPR certification required by the state.

Responsibilities

• Supervising nursing staff to ensure quality of care.
• Verifying proper distribution and documentation of medications and orders.
• Participating in resident assessments and service planning.
• Assisting with move-in/move-out processes including tours and family communications.
• Providing direct care during health emergencies or on-call rotations.
• Relaying resident concerns to the appropriate department manager.
• Communicating effectively with residents and staff.
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.

We are looking for an outstanding individual to join the nursing team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). You will support clinical services such as resident medication management, service planning and supervising the nursing staff. You will make a difference in the lives of residents by ensuring they receive excellent direct care.

Responsibilities--

Licensed Practical Nurse part time

• Supervising and training the nursing staff to ensure quality of care
• Verifying the proper distribution and required documentation of medication, treatments and orders
• Participating in regular resident assessments and service planning, and following up with ancillary health care services as needed
• Assisting with the move-in and move-out process including tours, orientation, evaluations, and family communications
• Providing direct care when needed, such as during health emergencies or during on-call rotation
• Relaying resident concerns or changes to the appropriate department manager
• Communicating effectively with residents and staff
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines

Requirements

Requirements:

• Required: a current LPN nursing license and CPR certification as required by the state
• Prefer: at least 1 year of prior relevant experience
• Prefer: previous supervisory experience, preferably in senior living
