Apploi is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our health care team. You will provide direct nursing care to residents, supervise STNAs, and coordinate with other departments to ensure quality care.

The role involves administrative duties, charting, medication administration, staff supervision, and daily review of resident care plans. Growth opportunities and a collaborative team environment are offered.

Responsabilidades

• Direct the day-to-day functions of STNAs or other nursing personnel in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines
• Provide discipline and evaluations of assigned STNAs and other nursing personnel
• Meet with assigned nursing personnel to plan shifts' services, programs, and activities
• Complete and file required recordkeeping forms or charts upon resident admission, transfer, and/or discharge
• Encourage attending physicians to review treatment plans, record and sign orders, progress notes, etc.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician
• Verify resident identity before administering medication
• Ensure that prescribed medication for one resident is not administered to another resident
• Inform nursing personnel of new admissions, their expected time of arrival, room assignment, etc.
• Provide feedback and recommendations for probationary and annual employee performance evaluations for STNAs
• Lead, educate, counsel, and discipline assigned STNAs, as necessary
• Review resident care plans daily to ensure that appropriate care is being rendered
• Inform the Nurse Supervisor and/or Unit Manager of any changes that need to be made on the care plan

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team of healthcare professionals. As an LPN, you will provide direct nursing care to our residents, supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of STNAs and non-licensed personnel, and coordinate with other departments to ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
