Salary: USD40 - USD43 per hour

A health services network in New York City is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their community-based behavioral health program in Brooklyn.

About the Opportunity:

• Shift: Day
• Schedule: Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

• Provide medication administration and support, including oral and intramuscular medications
• Monitor medication adherence, effectiveness, and potential side effects
• Perform phlebotomy and assist with coordination of healthcare services
• Deliver health education and psychoeducation related to medications, wellness, and recovery
• Assess clients’ mental status and healthcare needs, and complete required clinical documentation

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience working with adults ages 18+ in psychiatric or behavioral health nursing, substance use treatment, social service settings, homelessness services, justice-involved populations, or related support settings

Graduate of a Practical Nursing program

• Current and unrestricted New York State Licensed Practical Nurse license
• Knowledge of community-based treatment, support services, and resources
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and self-motivate
• Proficiency with computers and electronic documentation
