Job summary

Monarch Communities is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a part-time night shift 10:30p-6:30a at our Brandywine Senior Living community. You will monitor resident health, supervise care staff, and support medication administration within state regulations and quality standards.

The role requires an LPN license, 2+ years in long‑term care or similar settings, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. A sign-on bonus is offered and a supportive team environment is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, with current LPN license.
• At least 2 years’ experience with long‑term care, assisted living, home health or hospital setting preferred.
• Experience with residents with Alzheimer’s or related dementias.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations and nursing practices for health and wellness residents.
• Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) with the ability to learn new applications.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs and intermittent physical activity; must use proper body mechanics.

Led by the community's Health and Wellness Director (RN), our Wellness Nurse is a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who provides direct nursing care to the Residents with an emphasis on holistic wellness. They also help supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by care staff of Certified Nursing Assistants.

Salary Range: $36.00 - $38.00 Hourly

• An individual in this position will be required to lift or carry weight in up to 50 lbs. Intermittent physical activity includes lifting and supporting residents. The associate must use proper body mechanics.
