Job summary

Legend Senior Living® is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a part-time night shift (10pm–6am), two nights per week. You will support clinical services, medication management, service planning and supervise nursing staff to ensure residents receive excellent direct care.

The role includes on-call responsibilities and opportunities for bonuses based on performance. Founded as a family business with a commitment to quality and holistic well-being.

Qualifications

• Current LPN nursing license and CPR certification as required by the state.
• Prefer at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Prefer supervisory experience in senior living.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and training the nursing staff to ensure quality of care.
• Verifying proper distribution and documentation of medications and treatments.
• Participating in resident assessments and service planning with follow-up with health services.
• Assisting with move-in/move-out processes, tours and family communications.
• Providing direct care during health emergencies or on-call rotations.
• Relaying concerns to the department manager and communicating with residents and staff.
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.

JOB HIGHLIGHTS

We are looking for an outstanding individual to join the nursing team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). You will support clinical services such as resident medication management, service planning and supervising the nursing staff. You will make a difference in the lives of residents by ensuring they receive excellent direct care.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and training the nursing staff to ensure quality of care
• Verifying the proper distribution and required documentation of medication, treatments and orders
• Participating in regular resident assessments and service planning, and following up with ancillary health care services as needed
• Assisting with the move-in and move-out process including tours, orientation, evaluations, and family communications
• Providing direct care when needed, such as during health emergencies or during on-call rotation
• Relaying resident concerns or changes to the appropriate department manager
• Communicating effectively with residents and staff
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines

Requirements

• Required: a current LPN nursing license and CPR certification as required by the state
