Job summary

Legend Senior Living in Tampa, FL is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support clinical services and supervise nursing staff. You will manage resident medication, assist with service planning, and ensure high-quality direct care for residents.

Requirements include an active LPN license and CPR certification; prior supervisory experience in senior living is preferred. This role may involve evenings and weekends and requires commitment to compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Current LPN nursing license and CPR certification.
• Prefer 1 year of prior relevant experience.
• Prefer supervisory experience in senior living.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and training the nursing staff to ensure quality of care
• Verifying the proper distribution and required documentation of medication, treatments and orders
• Participating in regular resident assessments and service planning, and following up with ancillary health care services as needed
• Assisting with the move-in and move-out process including tours, orientation, evaluations, and family communications
• Providing direct care when needed, such as during health emergencies or during on-call rotation
• Relaying resident concerns or changes to the appropriate department manager
