Job summary

Aspirus Wausau Hospital is seeking an LPN to join the Palliative Care Unit team. The LPN collaborates with Registered Nurses to provide patient care, following Aspirus’s Professional Practice Model and standards.

Full-time or 0.9 FTE with night shifts are available, and a $2,500 sign-on bonus may be offered. Requirements include graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program, WI LPN licensure or pending, and BLS certification (or within 90 days of hire).

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• Successful completion of IV therapy and pharmacology courses.
• Current Wisconsin LPN licensure or application in progress.
• Current BLS certification or to be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Annual CEUs/continuing education requirements per Education Council.
• Annual competencies per Aspirus and/or regulatory agencies.

Aspirus Wausau Hospital is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Palliative Care Unit team!

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a member of the patient care team and is responsible for assisting with providing patient care under the general direction of a Registered Nurse. The LPN works within the Professional Practice Model of Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

**LPN may be eligible for a $2,500 sign on bonus**

HOURS: Full time or .9 FTE; 72 hours bi-weekly; Night Shifts

Experience/Qualifications:

• Knowledge of patient care standards normally acquired through graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• Successful completion of an IV therapy and pharmacology course.
• Previous experience beneficial.
• Current Wisconsin LPN licensure, or application made and awaiting results.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Annual accrual of CEUs/continuing education requirements per Education Council recommendation for the given year.
• Annual competencies as required by Aspirus and/or various regulatory agencies based on entity and/or job position.
