Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for our Nazareth Hospital location in Philadelphia, PA. The role supports physicians in an office setting, assisting with examinations and front desk duties as needed.

The position is part-time (20 hours per week) with four 5-hour shifts or three 6.5-hour shifts, no weekends or holidays. Candidates must hold an active LPN license and have at least 1 year of experience; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Position Purpose

The primary purpose of the Licensed Practical Nurse is to support the physicians in their delivery of quality clinical services in an office setting.

As an LPN, you will:

• Appropriately and professionally assist patients during the examination.
• Assist the physician and assist the MR with front desk duties when necessary.
• Maintain the clinical inventories for the practice under the direction and guidance of the Office Coordinator and/or provider(s).
• Adhere to infection control policies and procedures in the delivery of patient care.
• Record patient data in a pertinent, concise, timely, and legible manner.
• Prepare lab specimens for pickup and maintain pick up record.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered Practical Nurse License (required)
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
• 1+ years of experience (required)
