Job summary

This position provides professional-level nursing services at the South Dakota Developmental Center that require the application of basic nursing principles, practices, and techniques following established healthcare procedures and standards. Licenses And Certification

Must be licensed or be eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse in South Dakota (associate degree, bachelor's degree, or 3-year diploma). The nursing level depends on the qualifications and experience of the incumbent. All certificates and/or tests required for performance at this level must be obtained and/or completed.

Ideal Candidate Will Have

Experience working with adolescents or adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities or educational background in psychology, sociology, counseling, or another related field is requested.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
