Job Summary

We are hiring for two roles: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and Medical Assistant (MA). Both positions involve providing direct patient care, supporting clinical and administrative tasks, and assisting healthcare professionals in an ambulatory setting. Responsibilities include patient education, data collection, clinical support, and ensuring a safe environment for patients of all ages.

Responsibilities
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient data collection and care activities.
  • Implement age-appropriate interventions and evaluate care effectiveness.
  • Provide ongoing education and reinforce care plans.
  • Ensure safety and contribute to professional development and teamwork.
Medical Assistant (MA)
  • Support clinic operations and communicate effectively with team members and patients.
  • Perform clinical tasks such as vital signs, specimen collection, and assisting with examinations.
  • Support administrative duties including scheduling and documentation.
  • Maintain supplies, equipment, and ensure a safe environment.
Minimum Requirements
For LPN:
  • Graduated from an accredited LPN program.
  • Licensed to practice as an LPN in Virginia.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification.
For MA:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Current Medical Assistant Certification from a recognized national organization.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification.
Physical Demands

Standing for prolonged periods, frequent travel, bending/stooping, and lifting/pushing/pulling 20-50 lbs. May be exposed to chemicals, blood, and infectious diseases.
