We are currently seeking a Night shift, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Medical Innovation Unit at Augusta Health!

Medical Innovation is a 32-bed medical/surgical unit that is focused on being the catalyst for new technologies and innovative nursing practice. The team are early adopters of new technology, new equipment, and nursing practice models while caring for adult patients who are acutely ill with a wide variety of medical problems. The patient population on Medical Innovation is diverse, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate direct patient care, education, and leading the patient care team. You will obtain a strong knowledge base and feel competent to provide care in diverse and flexible settings. You have immediate opportunities to impact the future of nursing, lift up your voice within shared governance, and drive changes within organizational nursing practice.

We are offering up to a $5,000 sign on bonus for qualified applicants!

Requirements:
  • Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse, eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
  • One year of LPN experience preferred.
  • Positive attitude, with enthusiasm for caring for our community.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective time management skills.
